    OFFICE HOURS

    11AM to 4PM

    TRANSFER

    Students seeking transfer are liable to pay all usual charges, tuition fees up to the current month and transfer fee.

    Application for transfer Certificate must be countersigned by the parent/local guardian.

    CHANGE OF ADDRESS

    Students must promptly intimate in writing to the Principal any change of address during their period of study in the college.

    IDENTITY CARD

    Each student will be given an Identity Card which he/she should present when borrowing books from the Library, playing games in the Common Room and attending College functions and Sports.

    REGISTRATION FORM

    The University Registration has to be completed within the stipulated time period, as per guideline of CU. The admitted students may have to submit a few documents or data as per requirement. Students have to look at the notices on regular basis to stay updated.

    ATTENDANCE

    As per CBCS Regulations/ CCF regulations of the Calcutta University student will have to attend a minimum of 75% of the lectures delivered in each subject separately in order to eligible to appear in the university Examination as a regular collegiate student.

    If the percentage of attendance falls of 75% but not below 60% the student may be permitted to appear as a non-collegiate student on payment of the prescribed non-collegiate fee to the university.

    A student having attendance less than 60% becomes discollegiate and is not eligible to appear in the university examination.

    Students and their respective guardians are to note it carefully that any relaxation in the above rules for reason whatsoever is beyond the power of the college authority.

    Code of Conduct for Students & Staff

    CODE OF CONDUCT FOR STUDENTS

     Students must be regular and punctual in classes. Without obtaining the required percentage of attendance or absence for a long time without informing the college authority will be treated as violating the code of conduct.
     Students must bring their college ID card while coming to the institutions and produce it at the entrance before entering.
     Students are instructed to refrain from using mobile phones in the college premises, classrooms, library, and reading room during class hours and other academic as well as research activities.
     Students must not bring any outsider/non-student inside the campus without permission from the principal of the college.
     Students must maintain proper discipline inside the premises.
     Writing, scribbling on the walls, defacing, removing, or cankering any property of the college will result in strict disciplinary action against the guilty.
     Students must exercise courteousness and proper behaviour with the teacher, non-teaching staff, and other stakeholders.
     Students must refrain from ragging and bullying others inside the campus. Strict action will be taken if any student is found guilty of doing so.
     No student should exercise any kind of malpractice during examination as this may lead to serious disciplinary action against him/her.

    Code of Conduct for Teaching Staff
     Teachers must adhere to legitimate administrative and academic decisions taken by the college.
     Teachers must be committed and dedicated to the greater interest of the students in academic as well as holistic developmental aspects.
     It is mandatory for the teachers to maintain professional and academic sanctity.
     Teachers shall not practice partiality or discrimination against a student based on caste, creed, language, religion, gender, socioeconomic condition, or any other factor.
     Teachers shall not be absent from his/her duties without prior notice to the proper authority except for medical or other emergencies.
     Teachers must not engage themselves in any kind of monetary or financial gain/ transaction related to his/her job.
     Teachers must practice ethical behaviour and use their freedom of expression without harming the greater interest of the institution and students.
     Teacher must respect confidentiality.
     Teachers must not engage in smoking and consumption of alcohol in the college premises.

    Code of Conduct for Non-Teaching Staff
     All staff must obey and adhere to the administrative order and order of the principal of the college.
     Staff should always be cooperative, supportive, and honest and deal with students with care and kindness.
     All staff must be punctual to their duty and practice integrity.
     No staff will be allowed to take leave without prior notice to the competent authority except for medical or other emergencies.
     Non-teaching staff must be aware of their professional duty and exercise professional ethos by maintaining non-discrimination to students and other staff.
     They should not engage themselves in any sort of financial profit with the students.
     Smoking and consumption of alcohol are strictly prohibited inside the campus.
     Non-teaching staff must maintain confidentiality when and where needed for the sake of students and the institution.
     Non-teaching staff of this college must not discriminate against students on any ground.
