Application & Admission

• The college admits students irrespective of cast, creed or sex.
• Admission is strictly based on merit.
• Online Application process starts and continues absolutely as per schedule of the University of Calcutta. Generally, it starts immediately after the publication of Result of Higher Secondary under West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary and other equivalent examinations.
• Applicants are advised to look at the eligibility criteria for application to various curriculum, as defined by CU.
• Applicants must submit the form online and upload documents as per requirement.
• Once the application process gets over, the college publishes merit lists of the valid candidates. The eligible candidates can take admission by paying the requisite fees, once he/she gets a chance in the merit list.
• In general, multiple merit lists are published depending upon vacant seats and time limit.
  Mere submission of application does not assure admission.
• In case of Admission, the decision of the Admission Committee/ College Authority will be final and no further queries will be entertained.
• The college authority reserves the rights of admission/ rejection of any application / candidature irrespective of the caste/ creed/ gender/ financial & social status without assigning any reason whatsoever.
• In case of fraudulent activities/ misconduct observed even at a later stage, the candidate/ student may be debarred from the college at the sole discretion of the College Authority.
• It is assumed that the information furnished in this application is true to the best of the knowledge and belief of the applicant. In case of any false/ misleading information, the application will be summarily rejected.
• All Admissions are provisional and subject to be approved by the University of Calcutta

Verification

Following documents have to be submitted in time of verification,
1. Printed Application Form
2. Printed receipt of confirmation email/ Challan of application fees
3. Printed receipt of confirmation email of admission fees
4. Self attested Xerox copy of Admit card of class ten or any age verification ID
5. Self attested Xerox copy of result of class 10
6. Self attested Xerox copy of result of class 12
7. Self attested Xerox copy of Aadhaar Card
8. One passport size photo
9. Self attested Xerox copy of cast certificate (OBC/SC/ST) (if applicable)
10. Self attested Xerox copy of BPL certificate (if applicable)
11. Self attested physical handicapped certificate (if applicable)

Original document of results, certificates, ID proofs and Aadhaar Card should be brought and have to be shown in the time of verification process.
