As per CU Regulations of the Calcutta University student will have to attend a minimum of 75% of the lectures delivered in each subject separately in order to eligible to appear in the university Examination as a regular collegiate student.

If the percentage of attendance falls of 75% but not below 60% the student may be permitted to appear as a non-collegiate student on payment of the prescribed non-collegiate fee to the university.

A student having attendance less than 60% becomes discollegiate and is not eligible to appear in the university examination.

Students and their respective guardians are to note it carefully that any relaxation in the above rules for reason whatsoever is beyond the power of the college authority.
